# Transferring services

> A domain or VPS to another Lumi user

You can transfer a domain or VPS to another Lumi user right from the bot. The recipient has to accept it — nothing moves without their confirmation.

      <Step title="Open the domain card">
        [@lumibp\_bot](https://t.me/lumibp_bot) → **My Domains** → the domain you want.
      </Step>

        Enter the recipient's **Telegram ID**.

        They get a request with **Accept / Decline** buttons. The data on the server is preserved and the access credentials stay the same.
      </Step>
    </Steps>
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

<Note>
  The request is valid for **24 hours**. If the recipient doesn't accept within that window, the transfer is cancelled and the service stays with you.
</Note>

<Warning>
  Proxies can't be transferred — only domains and VPS.

## How to find a Telegram ID

The recipient needs to send you their numeric ID (not their @username). They can get it from any ID bot in Telegram, for example [@userinfobot](https://t.me/userinfobot) — it replies to any message with the ID.

<Note>
  Moving a domain to an external registrar is a different thing: message [@lumisup\_robot](https://t.me/lumisup_robot).
