# Full proxy setup

> Step by step: buy, geo, protocol, format, export and management

The whole path: from buying a proxy in the bot to a ready-to-paste string for your browser, scraper or antidetect tool. Everything is set up inside Telegram — no separate panel or website account.

<Note>
  All four kinds are on sale. **Rotating** (billed by traffic): **Residential** (home IPs) and **Mobile** (carrier IPs). **Static** (billed per IP): **ISP** and **Datacenter**.
</Note>

<Info>
  The bot's deep buy screens are still labelled in Russian even in English mode. Below, each Russian button is followed by its meaning in brackets.
</Info>

## Step 1. Pick a kind and category

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the bot">
    Send **/start** or open [@lumiproxy\_bot](https://t.me/lumiproxy_bot). The main menu has two buy buttons: **Статические** (Static) and **Ротационные** (Rotating).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a category">
    **Rotating:** **Residential** — home IPs of real ISPs; **Mobile** — carrier IPs (4G/5G), the highest trust from sites. **Static:** **ISP** — home IPs reserved to you; **Datacenter** — cheap server IPs. More in [Proxy types](/en/proxies).
  </Step>
</Steps>

After you pick a category, the **order panel** opens. The top shows the current settings (category, volume, location, rotation, format, protocol, line count); the buttons below:

| Button                                               | What it does                                     |
| ---------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| **Купить трафик / Купить IP** (Buy traffic / Buy IP) | Choose the amount and go to payment |
| **Локация** (Location)                               | Geo: country → region → city → operator/provider |
| **Настройки** (Settings) | Protocol, string format, line count, rotation |
| **Экспорт** (Export) | Download ready strings (after purchase) |

## Step 2. Location (geo)

In **Локация** (Location) it's a drill-down: each level unlocks after you choose the one above it.

* **Страна** (Country) — pick from the flag grid (popular first) or type an ISO code or country name by hand.
* **Регион → Город → Оператор** (mobile) **/ Провайдер** (residential) — locked (shown struck-through) until the level above is chosen.
* **Любая страна** (Any country) — the global pool, any available IP.

<Tip>
  The more precise the geo, the smaller the IP pool. If you just need "any IP from a country", choosing the country is enough.
</Tip>

## Step 3. Settings

| Setting                 | Options                                                                                                                                                  | Why                                                     |
| ----------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Протокол** (Protocol) | HTTP ↔ SOCKS5 (toggle)                                                                                                                                   | HTTP — browsers and scrapers; SOCKS5 — any TCP          |
| **Формат** (Format)     | rotating: `user:pass@host:port` · `user:pass:host:port` · `host:port:user:pass`; static: `ip:port:login:password` · `login:password@ip:port` · `ip:port` | Match your software                                     |
| **Количество** (Count)  | 1–10000 lines (1 / 10 / 100 / 1000 / 5000 / 10000)                                                                                                       | How many lines in the export (free, no effect on price) |
| **Ротация** (Rotation) | timer (1/5/10/30 min, 1/3/6/12 h, 1 day) · every request · custom minutes; session Sticky ↔ regular | How often the IP changes (rotating only) |

<Info>
  Protocol, format, line count and rotation are **free** and changeable any time. You pay only for traffic (rotating) or per IP (static).
</Info>

## Step 4. Buy and pay

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="Rotating (by traffic)">
    <Steps>
      <Step title="Traffic volume">
        **Купить трафик** (Buy traffic) → a preset or your own GB amount (1 to 1000). The more you buy, the lower the per-GB price. Term **30 days**.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Confirm and pay">
        The bot shows the summary and the **exact price** before charging. Charged to your balance; not enough — top up in **Account → Top up** (crypto, CryptoBot, xRocket, LOLZ, SBP). Proxies are issued automatically.
      </Step>
    </Steps>
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Static (per IP)">
    <Steps>
      <Step title="Number of IPs">
        **Купить IP** (Buy IP) → the number of addresses (1 to 500). The more IPs, the lower the per-IP price. Billed per IP, **30-day** cycle.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Confirm and pay">
        The bot shows the summary and the **exact price** before charging. Charged to your balance; not enough — top up in **Account → Top up**. The IPs are reserved to you right after payment.
      </Step>
    </Steps>
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

## Step 5. Get the proxy strings

After payment your proxies appear in the **Мои прокси** (My proxies) section — open the card for your category. Rotating cards show available traffic, geo, parameters and a setup link. Static shows an order in the format `🇺🇸 DC • 5 шт. • До: 05.06` (5 pcs, until 05.06).

| Button                                            | What it does                                                                                                      |
| ------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Экспорт** (Export) | Ready strings in your chosen format: one line as text, several as a `.txt` file. |
| **Пароль** (Password) | **Показать** (Show) — reveal the password; **Сменить** (Change) — generate a new one (the old one stops working). |
| **Докупить трафик** (Add traffic) | Rotating only: add traffic to the same subscription (geo is locked to the subscription). |
| **Продлить / Автопродление** (Renew / Auto-renew) | Static only: renew manually (IPs preserved) or turn on auto-renewal. |

## Step 6. Connect

Paste the string into your tool. To check: open `api.ipify.org` through the proxy — it should show the proxy IP, not yours.

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="curl">
    ```bash theme={"system"}
    curl -x http://user:pass@host:port https://api.ipify.org
    ```
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Python">
    ```python theme={"system"}
    proxies = {"http": "http://user:pass@host:port",
               "https": "http://user:pass@host:port"}
    requests.get(url, proxies=proxies)
    ```
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Antidetect / browser">
    Dolphin, AdsPower, Octo — the proxy field in the profile. In a browser — FoxyProxy or your OS settings.
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

## FAQ

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Do I pay per IP or per traffic?">
    Rotating (Residential/Mobile) — per **traffic** (GB) for 30 days. Static (ISP/Datacenter) — per **IP** for 30 days. Geo, protocol, format, line count and rotation are not charged.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Every request vs timer rotation?">
    "Every request" — a new IP per connection (scraping, bulk requests). By timer — the IP holds for a set time (logins, accounts). Available on rotating proxies; static has a fixed IP.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How many lines can I export?">
    Up to **10000** (presets 1 / 10 / 100 / 1000 / 5000 / 10000). It's a free output setting — lines repeat round-robin and don't affect the price.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="HTTP or SOCKS5?">
    The same address and login/password work over both protocols — pick whichever your software needs.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Out of traffic or term?">
    Rotating — open the card and tap **Докупить трафик** (Add traffic). Static — tap **Продлить** (Renew) or turn on **Автопродление** (Auto-renew).
